NDA New Delhi, Aug 5 (JKNS): The NDA Parliamentary Party on Tuesday passed a resolution saluting the “unmatched courage and unwavering commitment” of the armed forces for their heroic valour during Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, conducted in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack.

As per news agency JKNS, The resolution paid homage to the 26 innocent tourists killed in the “gruesome and barbaric” attack carried out by Pakistan-based terrorist group The Resistance Front (TRF) on April 22, 2025, and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his “visionary statesmanship and resolute leadership” in ensuring justice through decisive military action.

It highlighted that Operation Sindoor—a non-escalatory, precise and targeted strike on terrorist training camps in Pakistan and PoK—reflected India’s zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and its resolve to strike at the roots of terror infrastructure. The resolution also hailed international support for India’s stance, including the US designating TRF as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation and the BRICS Joint Declaration condemning the attack.

The resolution further underscored PM Modi’s defence reforms, focus on indigenisation, and free-hand policy for the armed forces, calling them critical to the success of Operation Sindoor. It also noted the global outreach led by Indian MPs to present India’s stance against terrorism as a “crime against humanity.” (JKNS)
