Rajouri, Aug 9 (JKNS): A 12-year-old boy lost his life and another sustained injuries after a tractor overturned at Bara Goua in the Kala Kote sector of Rajouri district on Saturday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the accident occurred when the tractor, carrying the two minors, met with a mishap under unknown circumstances. The injured were rushed to a nearby medical facility, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Abrar, 12, son of Muhammad Bashir, a resident of Berigowa Kurra. The other 12-year-old injured is also from Berigowa Kurra and his condition is stated to be stable, official said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation started. (JKNS)
