Srinagar, Aug 28 (JKNS): Traffic on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) remains suspended on Thursday morning due to road damage at several stretches between Jakheni and Chenani.
Officials told news agency JKNS that commuters have been strictly advised not to undertake any journey on the highway until restoration work is completed and the road is made traffic worthy.
Meanwhile, traffic is plying normally on the Mughal Road and Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumri (SSG) road as per advisory, while Sinthan Road continues to remain closed.
Authorities urged commuters to follow lane discipline and avoid overtaking to prevent congestion. (JKNS)
