This morning, the Chief Secretary confirmed that the three recovered mortal remains were facilitated via flight through Chandigarh Airport, it reads.

They have now landed at Srinagar Airport and are on their way to their respective hometowns to be laid to rest with dignity, statment reads.

The entire transportation and associated expenditure were borne by the Himachal Pradesh Government. The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association expressed deep gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena for their prompt intervention and humanitarian approach.

The rescue operation in Kullu continues on a war footing to locate the remaining four workers who are still trapped under the debris. (JKNS)
