Srinagar, Sep 12 (JKNS): Minister for Health, Sakina Itoo on Friday announced a series of new projects aimed at modernizing health services in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X Minister, as per news agency JKNS wrote, that ₹124.83 crore has been set aside following the commitment made by the Chief Minister in the Budget Speech.
Itoo said, the new initiatives include a CT Scan for GMC Jammu, MRI machines for GMC Baramulla, GMC Kathua and GMC Rajouri, a Cath Lab at GMC Doda, and a PET Scan at GMC Srinagar.
Health minister further stated that 80 telemedicine units will also be strengthened across the Union Territory to enhance remote healthcare services. (JKNS)
