Srinagar, Sep 15 (JKNS): Peoples Conference preaident Sajad Gani Lone on Monday urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to stay in the Union Territory and work with officers and stakeholders on a concrete strategy to address the crisis facing apple growers, whose produce he said is rotting and causing massive losses.
In a post on X, Sajad as per news agency JKNS wrote, The apples destined for the rest of the country are in a state of rot. Massive losses for the apple growers.
“I am sure there must be some remedial measures. Inclement weather is not fault of the government. But sitting like a mute spectator and doing nothing is criminal,” he wrote.
My humble advice to CM sahib. Stop wandering aimlessly across the country. Sit with your officers and stakeholders and work out a strategy, reads the post. (JKNS)
