Srinagar, Sep 16 (JKNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that stronger connectivity is essential to bridge existing gaps in Jammu and Kashmir, stressing that telecom expansion must be prioritized in remote and underserved areas.
Chairing a meeting on improving network coverage, Omar Abdullah as per news agency JKNS underlined that reliable telecom services are not only crucial for governance but also for education, emergency response, and economic opportunities.
He directed concerned officials and service providers to fast-track expansion of telecom infrastructure, ensuring that people in far-flung regions are not left behind. (JKNS)
