Bandipora, 19 Sep: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir organized a Plantation Drive at N M Boys Higher Secondary School, Kaloosa, Bandipora as part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada celebrations to mark the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
The drive was led by BJP General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from party leaders, workers, and local residents.
J&K BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan, Secretary Mudasir Wani, District Prabhari Rafiq Wani, and District President Mudasir Farooq Jan, along with other senior functionaries of the party were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul emphasized that the plantation drive was not only a tribute to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but also a commitment to environmental protection and sustainable living.
He said that the Seva Pakhwada is a reminder that service to the people and society is the highest form of duty. He said that planting trees is an act of service towards our future generations.
Just as the Prime Minister has dedicated his life to serving the nation, every sapling planted today is a step towards securing a healthier and greener tomorrow, he said.
Anwar Khan lauded the initiative and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inspired the nation with his call for cleanliness, service, and sustainability. He said that this plantation drive reflects the BJP’s resolve to carry forward this vision at the grassroots level in Jammu & Kashmir.
District leaders including Mudasir Wani, Rafiq Wani, and Mudasir Farooq Jan reaffirmed their commitment to continue people-centric programs under Seva Pakhwada and urged the youth to actively participate in constructive initiatives that benefit both society and the environment.
