*Srinagar Hockey Clinches Title as Gen Bipin Rawat Memorial Kashmir Hockey League 2025 Concludes*

Srinagar, Sep 20 (JKNS): The Gen Bipin Rawat Memorial Kashmir Hockey League 2025 concluded on Saturday at the Astro Turf, Polo Ground, Srinagar, with Srinagar Hockey defeating Baramulla Reds 2-0 to lift the trophy.

 

The 15-day tournament featured 16 teams from across the Kashmir Valley and drew over 3,000 spectators, celebrating hockey and regional talent.

 

Gen Bipin Rawat Memorial Kashmir Hockey League 2025 was successfully concluded at Astro Turf, Polo Ground, Srinagar on 20 Sep 2025.

 

The ceremony marked the conclusion of high-energy tournament that characterised the team spirt of 16 participating team from across the Kashmir Valley showcasing talent and skill in the tournament.

 

Played over 15 days, 3000 plus spectators celebrated the game of hockey by cheering their favourite teams. The final was played between Baramulla Reds v/s Srinagar Hockey with Srinagar Hockey emerging as winners by 2.0 & lifting the trophy.

 

Ms Rani Rampal, a star player of Indian Women’s Hockey Team, Padma Shri awardee graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. All the participants and winners were felicitated by the chief guest on the occasion.

 

Gen Bipin Rawat Memorial Kashmir Hockey League 2025 showcased athletic excellence as well as achieved its broader mission fostering youth engagement, promoting community integration and using sport as a tool for personal growth and unity. (JKNS)
