Budgam, Sep 23 (JKNS): Budgam Police on Tuesday conducted a raid in village Watalpora Beerwah and recovered a huge quantity of narcotics.
An official told nsws agency JKNS said that upon receiving credible input, SSP Budgam constituted a special team along with Police Station Beerwah. The raid was carried out at a bakery shop in the said village in the presence of Executive Magistrate Magam.
During the search, police recovered 4.5 kilograms of charas powder and 6.5 kilograms of green cannabis from the possession of Sadam Yousuf, son of Mohammad Yousuf Mir, resident of Watalpora Beerwah.
In this regard, a case under FIR No. 132/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Beerwah and further investigation has been taken up. (JKNS)
