Srinagar, Oct 6 (JKNS): In a creative bid to fight substance abuse, the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s IRP 20th Battalion organized a painting competition at Government Boys High School, Singpora, themed “Say No to Drugs and Yes to Life.”

As per news agency JKNS, IRP 20th Battalion organized a painting competition at Government Boys High School Singpora on the theme “Say No to Drugs and Yes to life.”

The aim of this event was to engage youth and students creatively in spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free society.

Such initiatives encourage participation from the community, especially school children, using art as a medium to address and combat the growing issue of substance abuse among youth.

The prize was distributed to best painters. This type of event helps in educating students about the consequences of drug use and empowers them as ambassadors of positive change within their localities. (JKNS)
