Budgam, Oct 22 (JKNS): Political activity has intensified in Budgam as several senior leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) gathered at the residence of party candidate Aga Syed Mehmood Wednesday to strategize for the upcoming by-elections.

According to reports received by news agency JKNS, more than eight senior NC leaders and former legislators attended the meeting and expressed their full support for Aga Mehmood, reaffirming the party’s unity and commitment to ensuring his victory in the constituency.

During the meeting, Aga Mehmood praised Srinagar MP and senior NC leader Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, describing him as “a great leader of the National Conference with exceptional calibre and a strong vote base.” He emphasized that Ruhullah remains a respected and integral figure within the party.

Aga Mehmood further stated that the National Conference is currently in a strong position in Budgam, adding that the enthusiasm among workers and leaders reflects the party’s growing confidence.

He assured the public that, if elected, the NC would work diligently over the next five years to fulfill all promises made to the people of Budgam. (JKNS)
