Srinagar, Nov 2 (JKNS): The second day of the ongoing film festival witnessed an engaging start with a masterclass conducted by noted cultural activist from Jammu, Mr. Deepak Kumar, who shared insights on the role of cinema in preserving and promoting regional culture and identity.
Following the masterclass, 16 films across various genres and languages were screened from 12 noon onwards, drawing enthusiastic participation from film enthusiasts, students, and local artists. The screenings highlighted a mix of regional storytelling and contemporary cinematic expressions.
According to the organisers, Day 3 will feature another set of masterclasses by Syed Humayun Qaisar and veteran actor Raza Murad in the morning session, followed by the screening of 11 films in multiple languages and categories from 12 PM onwards. The festival continues to serve as a vibrant platform celebrating creativity and cultural diversity. (JKNS)
