Srinagar, Nov 3 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the withholding of salaries of 18 Block Development Officers (BDOs) for their poor performance in completing e-KYC verification of MGNREGA workers.
An order issued by the Secretary to the Government as per news agency JKNS, during a review meeting held on November 2, 2025, it was observed that several blocks had achieved far below the Union Territory average of 49.68%, reflecting dereliction of duties on the part of concerned officers.
