Maroof Khan expresses profound grief over the Nowgam tragedy

Srinagar, Nov 15: Maroof Khan on Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of at least nine precious lives & left 29 individuals injured.

Khan described the tragedy as “a wound on all of us one that has shaken every conscious soul in Jammu & Kashmir.” He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families & prayed for strength, healing, & swift recovery of all those injured.

Maroof, who himself belongs from a police family background told i can witness the weight and pain of such incidents, I deeply understand the silent suffering of police families, he further acknowledged the unwavering dedication of the Jammu & Kashmir Police, calling it “one of the finest, most decorated, and most resilient police forces in the country.’’

He said. I stand in complete solidarity with every affected family. May the Almighty grant courage to the bereaved and healing to all who are injured. Urging swift support, Maroof Khan appealed to the administration to ensure immediate compensation for the victims’ families and to provide the best possible medical care and assistance to every injured individual.
