Srinagar, Nov 17 (JKNS): The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has issued a strict circular to all government-recognized private schools, directing them to ensure full compliance with the fee structure approved by the J&K Fee Fixation and Regulation Committee (FFRC).

According to the circular issued by the Joint Director North, Hakeem Tanveer Ahmad (JKAS) as per news agency JKNS it has been observed that several private schools are allegedly uploading fee structures on their websites and mobile applications that differ from the officially approved FFRC fee schedule.

The circular states that Chief Education Officers of Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara must mobilize field teams to physically verify that all private institutions are displaying only the FFRC-approved fee structure across all platforms.

It further directs CEOs to secure a written certificate or undertaking from every Head of Institution, confirming that no violation has occurred and that the displayed fee details are fully compliant with FFRC approval.

Additionally, all government-recognized private schools have been instructed not to charge tuition, transport, or annual fees beyond what has been sanctioned by the FFRC. (JKNS
