Bandipora, Nov 22 (JKNS): Sayam Hyder, widely known as the “Rubber Boy of Kashmir”, has once again earned international recognition by securing his second entry in the International Book of Records.

As per news agency JKNS, Sayam Hailing from Shadipora Bandipora, the 25-year-old has set a new world record for performing the “Most Floating Backward Bends While Holding a Football in 30 Seconds.”

Sayam achieved the milestone on October 10, 2025, completing 13 floating backward bends while firmly holding a football — a feat officially acknowledged by the International Book of Records.

Earlier, he had entered the record books for the “Maximum Times Full Body Passed Through a Tennis Racket in One Minute,” successfully manoeuvring his entire body through a tennis racket five times in 60 seconds.

With the latest accomplishment, Sayam has become the first individual from Jammu and Kashmir to hold two distinct world records in the solo activity category.

Known for his viral social media reels demonstrating extraordinary body flexibility, including 180-degree rotations, Sayam said his achievement is the result of discipline, hard work and relentless practice.

He expressed hope that his journey would motivate Kashmiri youth to pursue their talents and aspire for global platforms.

Locals and well-wishers have congratulated Sayam for bringing honour to Bandipora and the Union Territory. (JKNS)
