World Heritage Week: Vibrant Cultural Function held at Manasbal Park Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Nov 23 (JKNS): As part of the ongoing Heritage Week celebrations, a vibrant and colourful cultural function was today organized at Manasbal Park by the District Administration Ganderbal in collaboration with the Wullar Manasbal Development Authority (WMDA) and the Education department.

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Manzoor Ahmad; Chief Executive Officer WMDA, Ahsan-Ul-Haq Chishti; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Ganderbal, and Chief Education Officer Ganderbal attended the event.

Students from various schools across the district showcased an array of cultural performances, including traditional music, dance, and thematic presentations that highlighted the timeless heritage, vibrant traditions, and artistic expressions of Kashmir.

In addition to the enthusiastic participation of school children, the event also witnessed the presence of local residents, educators, and officials from multiple departments, adding to the festive ambience and community spirit of the celebration.

District administration expressed its commitment to continue promoting cultural awareness and heritage conservation through such programmes, emphasizing the importance of engaging the younger generation in preserving the region’s unique legacy. (JKNS)
