Qazigund Dec 03 (JKNS): Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Vessu on Wednesday organised a vibrant and inspiring ceremony to officially release its Annual School Magazine Gaash. The event celebrated the creativity, talent, and academic achievements of the students.
MLA Anantnag West, Abdul Majeed Bhat Larmi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Larmi praised the dedicated efforts of the school administration, faculty, and students in fostering an environment of academic excellence, innovation, and holistic development.
The programme was further highlighted by a series of colourful cultural performances presented by the students, showcasing their diverse artistic talents. The release of Gaash was hailed as a reflection of the students’ literary and creative potential, featuring poetry, essays, artwork, and thoughtful writings.
The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including District Planning Officer Anantnag Asadullah Mir, ASP National Highway Mumtaz Bhatti, SDPO Qazigund Ayaz Mansoor, Principal GHSS Brakpora Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Rather, Principal GGHSS Qazigund Mahmood Raina, Principal GHSS Salia Zahida Gull, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Manzgam, and Principal Govt Higher Secondary School Checki Wangund Abdul Aziz. All the guests appreciated the school’s continued commitment to nurturing young talent and offering meaningful platforms for student expression.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal GHSS Vessu Shoaib Khatana expressed pride over the release of the magazine.
