Srinagar, Dec 5 (JKNS): The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Friday launched fresh searches at multiple locations in connection with the ongoing investigation into the recently exposed doctors terror module, officials said.
A senior police officer told news agency JKNS that an SIA team carried out a raid at the residence of Tufail Ahmad Bhat, son of Niyaz Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Diyarwani Batmaloo, Srinagar. Tufail, an AC technician by profession, was recently arrested by the agency, the officer added.
The officer further informed that simultaneous searches were also conducted in Wakoora area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, at the house of Zameer Ahangar, in connection with the same case.
“These searches are part of the ongoing investigation, and more details will emerge as the probe progresses,” the officer said. —(JKNS)
