PM SHRI Govt. High School Khretti, Anantnag Celebrates Annual Day; Launches School Magazine “Noor-e-Ilm”

Anantnag, Dec 06 (JKNS): PM SHRI Government High School Khretti, Zone Vailoo (Anantnag), celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy.

As per news agency JKNS, The highlight of the event was the launch of the school’s inaugural magazine, “Noor-e-Ilm,” showcasing students’ literary and artistic talents through poems, articles, stories, and artwork.

The event was graced by Mr. Choudhary Zaffar Ali, MLA Kokernag, as the chief guest. Chief Education Officer Mr. Ali Mohammad Bhat, DEPO Asadullah Mir, ZEO Vailoo Mr. Sahil Bashir, and ZEO Bidder Mohammad Iqbal Khan were also present on the occasion.

Headmaster/DDO Mr. Liyaqat Ali extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries, parents, and students, appreciating the dedicated efforts of the staff and students in organizing the Annual Day celebration.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Zaffar Ali Choudhary and CEO Anantnag applauded the school community for its academic progress and achievements. “Students are the future of our nation, and they must work with dedication in all fields to make their parents and the country proud,” they said.

Parents also raised important concerns, particularly the absence of a boundary wall for the school. They informed the dignitaries that the issue has been repeatedly brought to the authorities’ notice but remains unresolved. Responding to their concerns, both the MLA and the CEO assured immediate attention and timely action.

In his concluding remarks, School Head of Institution Mr. Mian Aslam thanked the guests, staff, parents, and students for their continuous support. He praised the students’ hard work and highlighted the importance of holistic education that nurtures both academic and creative excellence.

The proceedings of the event were smoothly conducted by Dias Incharge Bilal Ahmad Khan. (JKNS)
