Dr. Khwaja Farooq Renzushah Presided Over Grand Martial Art Ceremony at Dhubaie International School, Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec 9 (JKNS): In a momentous celebration of talent and tradition, Dr. Khwaja Farooq Renzushah, Advisor to the prestigious International Sharda University and Chairman of the Kashmir Society, presided over a distinguished Awards of Martial Art function held at Dhubaie International School.

The event brought together an array of esteemed personalities from the education and social sectors, including Mr. Showkat Choudhary, Chairman of International Delhi Public School and President of the Private Schools Association; Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, DDC; Mr. Mehraj Wani of Tolstoy Raj Bagh; Mr. Pandit; Renowned social Activist and Mr. Arshad Aziz, along with Principal Mr. Parvaiz of Dhubaie International School.

The ceremony recognized and celebrated the achievements of victorious in Martial art who were honored with medals and trophies in acknowledgement of their dedication and skill.

During his address, Mr. Showkat Choudhary took a moment to commend Dr. Renzushah for his recent and esteemed appointment at International Sharda University, emphasizing its significance in enhancing the reputation of Kashmir as a bastion of knowledge. He further lauded Dhubaie International School, its dedicated management under Principal Arshad Rasool, and the talented students whose exceptional performances shined brightly on this noteworthy occasion.

In his speech, Dr. Renzushah eloquently underscored the vital role of Kashmir in the realms of knowledge, Sharda, and renaissance. He articulated the significance of martial arts as an integral part of spiritual education, tracing the rich historic lineage of Sharda University, established in the first century by revered Kashmiri scholars, which set the standards for quality education and original knowledge internationally.

Dr. Renzushah reminisced about the illustrious history of Kashmir as a beacon of enlightenment, referencing Nalanda and Taxila as the gateways of knowledge for scholars across the world. He mentioned the Fourth Buddhist Conference held in Harwan, Srinagar, and the historic resolution on Sharda knowledge and renaissance embossed on copper canons buried beneath the sacred waters of Sarband sarva bandah near the ancient Kundalwan. He emphasized the importance of excavating these relics to bring forth the invaluable resolutions inscribed in the Sharda language.

He also highlighted the profound influence of Hazrat Bulbulshah and Shah Hamdaan, who introduced Tasawuf and Sufi ideology to Kashmir in the 14th century through Sufi poetry and high-level spiritual literature. While acknowledging the contemporary challenges posed by radicalism affecting this rich tradition, he expressed hope for the renaissance of Kashmir’s composite culture and spiritual music, which once earned global admiration.

In conclusion, Dr. Renzushah extolled the contributions of Mr. Showkat Choudhary, Mr. Arshad Aziz, and Principal Parvaiz, along with all award recipients, for their unwavering commitment to revitalizing and promoting the ancient heritage of martial arts in Kashmir.

This event not only served to honor the accomplished martial artists but also reinforced Kashmir’s legacy as a nurturing ground for knowledge, culture, and excellence in various fields. (JKNS)
