Srinagar, Dec 15 (JKNS): A labourer died on Monday after suffering grievous injuries while working at a stone quarry in the Panthachowk area of Srinagar, officials said.

An official told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Bhar Din Bali, son of Roshan Din Bali, a resident of Kari Ramban, aged around 40 years.

The labourer was reportedly loading stones onto a tipper vehicle when a stone accidentally struck him on the head, resulting in critical injuries. He was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
