New Delhi, Dec 16 (JKNS): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has accorded approval for the extension of inter-cadre deputation of IPS officer Ms. Sarah Afzal Ahmed Rizvi from the Gujarat cadre to the AGMUT cadre, currently serving in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per an official communication issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, and accessed by news agency JKNS reads, The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs for extension of inter cadre deputation tenure of Ms. Sarah Afzal Ahmed Rizvi, IPS (GJ:2008) from Gujarat cadre to AGMUT cadre (UT of J&K).
The extension has been granted for a period of two years beyond 20.10.2025, on the grounds of personal hardship, order reads. (JKNS)
