Sumbal, Dec 16 (JKNS): An interaction programme was held at Dak Bungalow, Sumbal on Tuesday, during which a detailed discussion was held with the Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Able Hands Foundation regarding initiatives aimed at the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation of 45 children with disabilities from three districts, reflecting the foundation’s inclusive outreach and commitment towards children with special needs.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including the Chairman of Nalwala Foundation and Human Life Welfare Trust, EJAC General Secretary Mir Bashir, along with other prominent social and community figures.
Speakers emphasized the need for collective efforts, enhanced awareness and sustained support to ensure equal opportunities, dignity and a better future for children with disabilities across the region. (JKNS)
