CRPF Jawan Dies After Collapsing at Anantnag Railway Station

Anantnag, Dec 18 (JKNS): A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan died after he suddenly collapsed at Anantnag Railway Station. officials said on Thursday.

An official told news agency JKNS, the deceased has been identified as Lakhwinder Singh, son of Ajaib Singh, a resident of Punjab, aged about 55 years, who was presently posted at the railway station.

He reportedly felt unconscious while on duty and was immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Cognizance of the matter has been taken. (JKNS)
