New Delhi, Dec 26 (JKNS): Army Goodwill School Hajinar earned national acclaim during the National Mathematics Day 2025 Celebrations and the 19th National Mathematics Convention, held from 20–22 December 2025 at Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Tahir Gaffar, Teacher, Army Goodwill School Hajinar, was honoured with the National Best Promotion of Mathematics Teacher Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to mathematics education and his sustained efforts in promoting innovative and student-centric teaching practices at the national level.The prestigious event was graced by several eminent dignitaries and education leaders. Hon’ble Minister for Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. The significance of National Mathematics Day was highlighted by Shri Brigadier M. N. Kadapatti, Eminent Mathematician from Bangalore.
The programme was further dignified by the presence of Shri P. Bharathi, Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat; Dr. Vrajesh Parikh, GM (SP), Gujarat Council of Science City; Shri V. K. Patel, Executive Director, GCSC; and Dr. Chandramauli Joshi, Chairman, All India Ramanujan Maths Club, Rajkot.The convention was organized by the Gujarat Council of Science City in collaboration with the All India Ramanujan Maths Club, providing a national platform to recognize excellence in mathematics education and outreach.
