Anantnag, Dec 27 (JKNS): A tragic incident was reported from Sherpora area of Anantnag district where a teenage boy lost his life after falling from a rooftop, officials said.
Official sources told news agency JKNS, the deceased has been identified as Fazil Altaf Mir, son of Mohammad Altaf Mir, a carpenter by profession and a resident of Mir Mohalla, Uttersoo Naji Gund, Anantnag.
Reports said the boy accidentally fell from the rooftop under circumstances yet to be ascertained. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and further proceedings have been initiated. (JKNS)
