Srinagar, Jan 13 (JKNS): Aerial activity in the form of drones was detected along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, prompting swift counter measures by the Indian Army, sources said on Tuesday.
Sources told news agency JKNS that after the drones were sighted in forward areas, the Army immediately activated its counter-Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) grid and took appropriate action against the threat.
The situation is being closely monitored and further details are awaited, sources added. (JKNS)
