Srinagar, Jan 14 (JKNS): Two labourers were found dead inside a rented accommodation in the Nowgam area of Srinagar on Wednesday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS, the men were discovered unconscious in their rented room, following which police were informed. A police team along with officials from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reached the spot and initiated legal proceedings to ascertain the cause of death.
The deceased have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Wagay, son of Ghulam Rasool Wagay, and Nisar Ahmad Ahanger, son of Ghulam Ahmad Ahanger, both residents of Magam area of Kokernag.
Further investigation into the incident is underway. (JKNS)
