Srinagar, Jan 17 (JKNS): The football team of Cluster University Srinagar (CUS) continued its impressive performance by advancing to the semifinals of the 3rd Chancellor’s Trophy being held at the University of Jammu.
In the quarterfinal encounter, Cluster University Srinagar faced Kashmir University. Displaying strong defensive organization and tactical discipline, the CUS team secured a 1–0 victory, sealing their place in the semifinals of the prestigious tournament.
Earlier, in the pre-quarterfinal match, the CUS team registered a commanding 16–0 victory against Trikuta Group of Colleges, demonstrating complete dominance throughout the match.
The university administration, including Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mohammad Mobin, has appreciated the commendable performance of the university team and extended best wishes for the upcoming semifinal match.
