Srinagar, Jan 17 (JKNS): 15 Rashtriya Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters 31 Sub Area, organized a Free Medical Camp at Harwan, Srinagar, on January 17, 2026, from 1030 hrs to 1400 hrs, as part of the Health For All initiative, in collaboration with Saving The Future NGO and Paras Hospital. The camp aimed at enhancing access to essential healthcare services for residents of Harwan and adjoining areas.
According to a press note, the medical camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 150 patients availing comprehensive consultations across Orthopaedics, Dental Care, and General Medicine. The medical teams conducted detailed examinations, provided preventive counselling, and advised on follow-up care, ensuring that beneficiaries received focused and professional medical attention.
Specialist doctors from Paras Hospital, supported by volunteers from Saving The Future NGO, worked in close coordination with the Army medical staff to deliver efficient, people-centric healthcare services throughout the event.
Free medicines and essential health supplements were distributed to all patients, including pain management medication, antibiotics where required, dental care kits, multivitamins, calcium supplements, and general wellness medicines to address common ailments prevalent in the region.
The successful conduct of the camp exemplifies the strong synergy between 15 Rashtriya Rifles, HQ 31 Sub Area, Saving The Future NGO, and Paras Hospital. The initiative reaffirms the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to community development and improved healthcare access in sensitive and underserved areas of the Kashmir Valley.
