Udhampur, Jan 17 (JKNS): A 45-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Ghordi area of Udhampur district during the morning hours on Saturday, triggering concern among locals.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the body of Mulk Raj was found hanging from a tree, following which police were informed about the incident.
Soon after receiving information, police reached the spot, cordoned off the area and shifted the body for medico-legal formalities, sources said.
They added that a case has been taken up and investigation has been initiated to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the death. (JKNS)
