Anantnag, Jan 18 (JKNS): The body of an unidentified woman was found near a nallah behind the Government Medical College (GMC) at Janglat Mandi in Anantnag district on Sunday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that upon receiving information, police reached the spot and shifted the body to GMC Anantnag for medico-legal formalities and identification.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances leading to her death. (JKNS)
