According to an official post by the Chief Minister’s Office on X as per news agency JKNS, the meeting was convened to deliberate on several important public welfare and administrative matters. “Chief Minister today chaired a Cabinet meeting at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, to consider key matters of public and administrative importance,” the post read.

Sources told news agency JKNS that the Cabinet also discussed preparations related to the Lieutenant Governor’s address at the start of the Budget Session, besides certain welfare-oriented proposals likely to be incorporated in the annual budget.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, ministers Sakina Itoo, Javed Ahmed Rana, Javid Ahmed Dar and Satish Sharma, along with Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and other senior officials.
