Srinagar, Jan 23 (JKNS): All flight operations at Srinagar Airport were cancelled for the day on Friday in view of continuous snowfall and accumulation of snow on the operational areas, airport officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the decision was taken due to prevailing adverse weather conditions and an unfavourable forecast along the flight routes, which made flight operations unsafe.
Passengers have been advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest updates and re-accommodation. Authorities expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to travellers. (JKNS)
