Karnah, Jan 24 (JKNS): Ahead of Republic Day celebrations on January 26, a full-dress rehearsal was held at the Mini Secretariat Karnah with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. On the occasion, Naib Tehsildar Owais Ahmad unfurled the Tiranga, marking the formal beginning of preparations for the national event.
Students, government officials, and participants actively took part in the rehearsal, displaying discipline, unity, and dedication to the nation. The event reflected strong patriotic spirit among the youth and highlighted the commitment of the local administration to ensure a dignified and memorable Republic Day celebration.
A series of cultural programs were presented by students, featuring patriotic songs, dances, and other performances that captivated the audience. The SHO Tangdar, Fire and Emergency Services Department, Sports and Youth Department, and other concerned departments participated in the event, demonstrating coordination and readiness for the main celebration.
ZEO Tangdar and the President of Beopar Mandal Tangdar were also present, extending their support and encouraging students and youth to actively participate in national and cultural activities.
Officials emphasized the importance of Republic Day in reminding citizens of India’s constitutional values, freedom, unity, and democratic responsibilities. The rehearsal concluded with patriotic slogans and renewed enthusiasm to make the main Republic Day function a grand success. (JKNS)
