Srinagar, Jan 27 (JKNS): Continuous snowfall and adverse weather conditions forced the suspension of all flights to and from Srinagar International Airport on Tuesday.
Officials told the news agency JKNS, the runway is currently not safe for aircraft operations.
“In the interest of passenger safety, all flights have been cancelled for the day,” a senior airport official said.
He said, airline and airport authorities are monitoring the situation closely and will resume operations once the runway is cleared and declared safe.
Passengers are urged to stay updated through official channels and check with their respective airlines.—(JKNS)
