Srinagar, Jan 27 (JKNS): In view of the prevailing adverse weather conditions in the Valley, Principal/Dean Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Hassan, along with Administrator Associated Hospitals Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, conducted an extensive inspection of associated hospitals on Tuesday to assess healthcare readiness and ensure uninterrupted medical services.
The visit covered Children Hospital Bemina, Lal Ded (LD) Hospital, Chest Disease Hospital, Bone & Joint Hospital, and Kashmir Nursing Home. Prof. Iffat reviewed healthcare facilities’ preparedness, directing Medical Superintendents to ensure uninterrupted patient care, essential medicines, emergency services, and critical care services.
She emphasized zero tolerance for lapses in patient services during harsh weather. The Administrator assured full administrative and logistical support, stating departments are on high alert. Medical Superintendents confirmed essential facilities are in place and staff is deployed for seamless healthcare delivery.
