Srinagar, Jan 30 (JKNS): Srinagar Police observed a two-minute silence on Martyrs’ Day across all establishments of District Srinagar, including Police offices, Police stations, and Police posts, to solemnly remember the brave Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom .
The silence observance was led by SSP Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, at the District Police Headquarters, Srinagar. Senior officers across the district also participated in the observance at their respective establishments, paying rich tributes to the martyrs and acknowledging their supreme sacrifices and unwavering patriotism.
The observance served as a reminder of the enduring values of courage, unity, and dedication to the nation, which continue to inspire the force in its service to the people.
On the occasion, Srinagar Police reiterates its firm commitment to uphold the ideals enshrined in the Constitution of India and to serve the public with integrity, professionalism, and dedication, in honour of the Martyrs’ legacy. (JKNS)
