Jammu, Feb 1 (JKNS): In view of the forthcoming Budget Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, the Government has ordered that the Finance Department and all Heads of Departments (HoDs) under its administrative control shall remain open and functional on January 31 and February 1, including Saturday and Sunday.
According to an order issued by the Finance Department, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, the step has been taken to facilitate smooth handling of budget-related work and ensure timely disposal of official matters ahead of the Budget Session.
“All concerned departments have been directed to ensure full attendance and maintain efficiency during the said days to meet the requirements of the ensuing Budget Session,” the order reads. (JKNS)
