Srinagar, Feb 1 (JKNS): The virtual budget announcement by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was organised in every district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, witnessing enthusiastic participation from party workers, civil society members, and the general public.

The largest gathering was held at Tagore Hall, Srinagar, where a significant number of participants assembled to listen to the Finance Minister’s budget speech through a live virtual platform. The event at Tagore Hall was organised under the leadership of BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan.

Anwar Khan stated that organising the virtual budget announcement across all districts reflects the party’s commitment to transparency and public engagement. He added that the budget lays a strong foundation for economic growth and inclusive development in the region.

Addressing the gathering, BJP leader highlighted the key features of the Union Budget and its focus on development, infrastructure growth, employment generation, and welfare schemes aimed at benefiting all sections of society, including the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Similar programmes were organised in other districts of Jammu and Kashmir, where party workers and citizens participated actively and discussed the budget’s impact on local development and national progress. (JKNS)
