J&K UT Kudo Championship 2025–26 Concludes; 250 Athletes Participate, 200 Earn Yellow Belts

Jammu, Feb 6 (JKNS): The J&K Kudo Association successfully concluded the three-day Jammu & Kashmir UT Kudo Training Seminar and Kudo Championship 2025–26, held from 2nd to 4th February 2026 at the Indoor Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.

The prestigious event witnessed enthusiastic participation of around 250 athletes from various districts of Jammu & Kashmir, reflecting the growing popularity and development of Kudo in the Union Territory.

The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr. Javeed-ur-Rehman, DSO (C), Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council. The event was further graced by distinguished Guests of Honour, including Mr. Goutam Shukla, Activities Incharge, JKSC; Mr. Bilal Ahmad Parray, Chairman, J&K Development Foundation; Mr. Sarbaz Sajad; Mr. Nazir Ahmad Maqdoomi; and Ms. Ritiqa, Manager, Indoor Stadium Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.

Alongside the championship, an intensive training seminar was conducted focusing on technical skills, discipline, and competitive preparedness.

As a significant outcome of the seminar, approximately 200 participants successfully qualified for the Yellow Belt, marking an important milestone in their Kudo journey.

The J&K Kudo Association expressed its sincere gratitude to the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council for its continuous support and cooperation, which played a vital role in the successful conduct of the event.

The event concluded on a positive note, promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and unity among athletes from different regions of the Union Territory. (JKNS)
