Srinagar, Feb 8 (JKNS): Dr Ranjeet Singh Kotwal (JKAS), a 2011 Batch Officer currently serving as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Chenani, has been unanimously elected as the Interim President of the All J&K Junior Scale JKAS Association.
The decision witnessed complete unity and consensus across the JKAS fraternity, with representatives from all batches ranging from 2011 to 2025 extending their support to Shri Kotwal.
He was elected by the Interim Executive Body, which was constituted last year and includes representatives from every JKAS batch, ensuring broad-based and inclusive representation within the association.
Dr Kotwal has earlier served as Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Udhampur, and is widely regarded for his administrative acumen and people-centric approach.
The meeting was attended by Dr Aadil Fareed (Additional District Magistrate) Srinagar, Danish Rasool Mir (Assistant Commissioner Development, Jammu), Syed Mazahir Kazmi (SDM, Ramsoo) and other JKAS officers.
The unanimous election reflects the confidence reposed in Dr Kotwal’s leadership and underlines the spirit of solidarity among JKAS officers across batches. (JKNS)
