Baramulla, Feb 9(JKNS): Cow shed was gutted after a fire engulfed a shed in Kreeri on Monday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that, a cow shed belonging to Gh Qadir Bhat, son of Ab Rehman Bhat, a resident of Taper Bala, Kreeri, was completely damaged in a fire incident.
Soon after the incident, fire tenders, police personnel, and local residents rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby structures.
Preliminary reports suggest that the blaze was caused by a short circuit. However, no loss of life or injuries were reported in the incident. (JKNS)
