Banihal, Feb 10 (JKNS): Three persons were injured after an auto rickshaw travelling towards Banihal met with an accident near Nachlana Bridge on Tuesday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that all the injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where they were provided first aid. Due to the nature of their injuries, all three were later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Ghulam Hassan, son of Lasu Sohil, a resident of Chacnarwah, aged 65 years, who sustained a head injury; Fatima Begum, wife of Ghulam Hassan Sohil, aged 57 years, who suffered multiple injuries along with fractures; and Mohammad Akram, son of Abdul Hamid, aged 32 years, a resident of Sila Gandote, Ramban, who sustained a severe head injury.
