Bandipora, Feb 13 (JKNS): The parking area inside the premises of the Community Health Centre (CHC) Hajin in Sonawari has turned into a muddy and slushy stretch following recent rainfall, causing serious inconvenience to patients, attendants, and visitors.
According to locals as per news agency JKNS, the entire parking space has been filled with mud, making it extremely difficult to park vehicles. They said that due to the poor condition of the parking area, people are facing severe hardships, especially patients, elderly persons, and attendants who visit the hospital daily.
The residents have appealed to the higher authorities to take immediate notice of the issue and ensure an early resolution, as the problem worsens during rainy weather.
Meanwhile, when this reporter contacted the concerned Block Medical Officer (BMO) Hajin, he stated that the matter has already been brought to the notice of higher authorities.
He further assured that macadamization of the parking area will be carried out within the current year to address the issue permanently. (JKNS)
