Srinagar, Feb 15 (JKNS): In a significant step towards strengthening sports infrastructure and youth engagement, MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi laid the foundation stone for a ₹2.45 crore indoor stadium at Lasjan, reaffirming his commitment to delivering on major electoral promises.
MLA Lal chowk Ahsan Pardesi laid the foundation stone for indoor stadium costing 2.45 crores at Lasjan Srinagar. This sports ground and indoor stadium was a poll promise he had made during the elections.
On the occasion he said, I am very happy that one of the major poll promises has been fulfilled and besides that he assured the locals to take all their grievances to the logical conclusions.
Speaking to the media, he said that this indoor stadium will go a long way in catering to the youth who needs to be engaged in the sports activities and on the occasion he lamented the works done from last one year in Lal chowk constituency whether it was from the Jal Shakti department, construction of major four OHTs is going on in the constituency which is yard stick of major development initiatives.
He highlighted the inauguration of yesterday’s road at Athwajan which was long pending demand of locals. construction of lanes, drains, macadamization, PDD, SMC related issues and other sports grounds at Pantha Chowk, zewan, Soietaing for which he has raised funds in the CDF.
Yesterday hon’ble MLA Lal chowk laid foundation stone of two sports grounds in constituency Hon’ble MLA Asan Pardesi said that I am thankful to Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who has always helped me in fulfilling the demands of the people and I look forward to do more good work for the people.
He was accompanied by Provincial women president Sabiya Qadri, youth leader Fazil Bhat and local party office bearers (JKNS)
