New Delhi, Feb 16 (JKNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday welcomed global leaders, industry captains, innovators and researchers as India began hosting the AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, the Prime Minister said the Summit aims to bring the world together to deliberate on the future of Artificial Intelligence. He extended a warm welcome to world leaders, policymakers, tech enthusiasts and stakeholders from across the globe participating in the five-day event.

Highlighting the theme of the Summit — “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya” (welfare for all, happiness for all) — PM Modi said it reflects a shared commitment to harnessing Artificial Intelligence for human-centric progress and inclusive growth.

He noted that AI is transforming key sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, governance and enterprise, and expressed confidence that the deliberations at the Summit would enrich global discourse on innovation, collaboration and responsible use of emerging technologies.

The Prime Minister further said that India stands at the forefront of the AI revolution, crediting the country’s 1.4 billion citizens for driving the transformation. He pointed to India’s digital public infrastructure, vibrant startup ecosystem and advances in cutting-edge research as evidence of the nation’s ambition coupled with responsibility in the AI domain.

PM Modi expressed optimism that the outcomes of the Summit would help shape a progressive, innovative and opportunity-driven future for the world. (JKNS)
