New Delhi, Feb 22 (JKNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the India AI Impact Summit has emerged as a decisive milestone in shaping how the world will harness the power of Artificial Intelligence in the years to come, asserting that global leaders were deeply impressed by India’s advancements in the sector.

Addressing the nation during his monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister Modi as per news agency JKNS said, “This summit proved to be a turning point in the trajectory of how the world will utilise the power of AI in the future.”

He noted that leaders, industry experts and innovators from across the globe participated in the summit and witnessed India’s growing technological capabilities. “At the India AI Impact Summit, world leaders were impressed by these AI breakthroughs,” he said, adding that the event showcased India’s remarkable progress in artificial intelligence.

Highlighting key exhibits, the Prime Minister said one of the major attractions was the use of AI in the dairy sector. “At Amul’s booth, it was explained how AI is helping in the treatment of animals and how farmers are able to monitor their livestock with 24×7 AI assistance,” he said.

He further said that global leaders were also amazed to see how India is leveraging AI to preserve ancient texts, manuscripts and traditional knowledge while adapting them for the present generation.

The Prime Minister said that during the summit, India also launched three indigenous AI models and described the gathering as the largest AI summit ever held.

During his address, he also cautioned citizens against rising cases of digital fraud and so-called “digital arrest” scams. “Many senior citizens and innocent people have become victims of such financial crimes. It is very important to remain alert and vigilant,” he said.

Referring to repeated bank messages seeking KYC updates, he said, “Sometimes you may wonder why you are being asked to update KYC again. I urge you not to worry; this is for the safety of your money.”

Modi also spoke about Indian-origin players representing other nations in international tournaments, saying it reflects the global footprint of India’s talent. He described it as a hallmark of “Indianness” that wherever Indians go, they remain connected to their roots while contributing to their adopted homeland.

Encouraging students appearing for examinations, he said, “Your worth isn’t determined by your mark sheet. Trust yourself and write wholeheartedly about what you have studied.”

The Prime Minister also paid tributes to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on her birth anniversary and mentioned the revival of Kerala’s historic Mamangam tradition after nearly 250 years. (JKNS)
